The imagery is essentially an evolving hybrid that embodies my fascination of myth, folk tales, alchemical and metaphysical imagery, scientific illustration, and Jungian concepts. Interlaced throughout the work is an admiration and concern for the natural world. My intention is to create a connection, a spark that evokes an emotional response. The paintings and drawings embody a vision that is primarily personal, yet the familiar contextual elements creates a bridge connecting to common and global concerns we all share.
